elko-flex EDER N: the economical and safe alternative for heating systems with heat pumps

Heating systems with heat pumps are often of the same dimensions as heating systems with solid fuel boilers such as wood gasifiers or pellets with regard to the expansion vessel. However, this is actually not correct – and also not necessary. There is great savings potential for the customer here: both in terms of space and money.

Heat pumps are operated at a maximum temperature of 70°C. The lower temperatures compared to a solid fuel boiler system result in a considerably lower expansion volume.

Usually a standing vessel is installed, which is considerably more expensive and requires more space than a wall-hung expansion vessel, which is the right choice according to ÖNORM. A smaller, wall-mounted vessel is therefore sufficient and more efficient.

In a system with 15kW, max. 70° buffer temperature and storage tank with 800 litre buffer volume: elko-flex N80

In a system with 15kW, max. 70° buffer temperature and storage tank with 1000 litre buffer volume: elko-flex N100

Elko-flex EDER N:

elko-flex EDER expansion vessels are fully welded pressure expansion vessels with absolute medium separation and constant inlet pressure for closed hot water heating, air conditioning and cold water systems.
